Data deletion instructions
You can request deletion of information you have shared with ApnaShip, including enquiry messages and, when booking is available, contact and booking-related information.
This is a manual request process. Opening this page, deleting a WhatsApp chat, or sending a request does not immediately delete ApnaShip's records. Our team must review the request and confirm the outcome.
How to make a request
- Contact ApnaShip on WhatsApp at +91 85294 87699 and write: “Please delete my ApnaShip data.”
- Use the number from which you contacted or booked with us where possible. State whether you want all eligible information deleted or only a particular enquiry or booking. Include a booking reference only if you have one.
- If you cannot use WhatsApp or no longer have access to that number, call +91 85294 87699. Explain the access problem so we can discuss a suitable verification method.
- Our team will review ownership and the records concerned, then respond with the outcome or any reason that prevents full deletion. You can follow up through the same contact.
We may ask for limited information to check that the request concerns your own records. Do not send passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs, or full bank credentials.
What can be deleted
Requests can cover information held by ApnaShip, such as contact details, chat records, draft parcel details and support records. Deletion of completed transaction or shipment records may be limited by an ongoing delivery, refund, dispute, investigation or applicable retention requirement. We will explain relevant limits when responding.
What this does not do
- It does not automatically cancel a shipment or refund a payment. Ask separately about an active booking.
- It does not delete your WhatsApp or Facebook account.
- It does not automatically delete copies held by other chat participants, Meta, banks or shipping providers.
- Replying STOP to the future bot changes shipment-update preferences; it is not a data deletion request.
